This course is designed for Occupational Health Technicians to increase their skills and knowledge. It is suitable for those new to the role or who have some experience within the role of Occupational Health Technician and would like to formalise your acquired knowledge and skills through achieving a recognised qualification. The course may also be useful for those working in a nursing, care or similar environment and where the role contains elements of Occupational Health screening or monitoring. 

The qualification has been designed with the support of the Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM).

The course focuses on the essential skills and knowledge required to fulfil the role of an Occupational Health Technician, combining both principles and practice, and is mapped to the SOM's Occupational Health Technician Training Curriculum.
