Requirements

  • There are no specific entry requirements for this course. NEBOSH recommend that delegates have a minimum standard of English, as they must be able to understand and communicate the concepts in the course content, and complete the written exam and practical assessment. Delegates should have a basic knowledge of health and safety, and an understanding of what happens in their workplace. The information you will need to know for the practical assessment and the exams will be covered in the course. If you have any specific learning needs, including dyslexia please let us know before the course. A good understanding of English is needed.

Description

The course is made up of presentations, question and answer sessions, activities and projects. There are 2 assessments at the end of the course – one written exam and a practical assessment. The practical assessment includes the completion of a general risk assessment carried out at the learner’s workplace. The tutor will support the learner’s knowledge and understanding by classroom and individual discussion.

NEBOSH will issue successful delegates the National General Certificate.
